Sometimes you love a movie because...well, just because (even if you're afraid to admit it). So I'm throwing caution to the wind and giving you my first list of guilty pleasure movies. Here goes...

Watching this film, the most obvious question that comes to mind is, "How did this happen? How did someone give this the green light?" All I can say is, thank God they did.

Twinkie-weiner sandwich. Conan the Librarian. Take a drink from the firehose. Plots R Us. Spatula City. Moldy bag of tangerines. See it.

"The 'Burbs" is one of those "family movies" for me. Meaning that my family loves it, knows every line, every gesture, and actually thinks it's funny (which can't be said of many people). "Ray, this is Walter!"

In retrospect, possibly the worst video-game adaptation ever made. Certainly the most bizarre. But who cares? It's freaking weird, but I love it (in that way you can love bad movies for being so bad).

I'm either really delusional or this movie is funny. Probably the former. Remember the days when Sinbad was cool? Well, here's a movie from that golden age of cinema, co-starring the late great Phil Hartman. I still can't believe this one got snubbed at the '95 Oscars.

Ryan, I'm right there with you. I'm pretty sure that "The Burbs" is one of the best movies of all time!
After all Bruce Dern spent all those years in the bush in Vietnam...I love that movie.
A great companion to Houseguest is First Kid. Double-O-Sims....
And Mario Bros had some sweet toy merchandising, too.
I just saw the film "Dan in Real Life"...an independent film must see. "Juno" is brilliant too.
take care.
House Guest is classic.
Load the grill with fatty meat, put it on a bun and eat, eat, eat!
love every one of them. what would we do without these fabulous films?
